Mission Statement
 The mission of the Boys & Girls Club of Hernando County is to enable all young people, especially those who need us most, to reach their full potential as productive, caring, responsible citizens.
Boys & Girls Clubs of Hernando County
A youth development agency. The Club delivers programs dedicated to the health, social, educational, vocational, character development and guidance of youth, 5-18 years of age. The Club is open to all youth, with special emphasis on providing quality services to those members from disadvantaged circumstances. The Boys & Girls Clubs of Hernando County is a member of Boys & Girls Clubs of America, a national organization with over 2000 Clubs, serving over 3 million youth.

Boys & Girls Clubs of Hernando County has a line-up of tested, proven and nationally recognized programs that address the most critical issues affecting today’s youth and provide them with the knowledge, skills and attributes they need to pursue their dreams and succeed in life. Our programs are carefully designed to support achievement of the Youth Development Outcomes our Movement has articulated for young people leaving our Clubs at age 18.

BGCHC's dedicated staff members strive to improve each child's life by implementing self-esteem, courage, and positive values through programs in five core areas:
